Adult Faith Enrichment

The course of study, developed by St. Gregory's University, Shawnee, OK, consists of 18 modules, designed for use by small groups. The study modules examine various aspects of Catholic spirituality, theology, and ministry. Each module will consist of a booklet containing reading materials, questions, readings and prayers for group study sessions. Topics for these modules include:

Theology of God
Sacred Scripture I & II & III
Theology of the Church
Social Teachings of the Church
The Prayer of the Church
Sacraments I & II
Fundamentals of Liturgy
History of the Church and Theology I & II
Morality I & II
Spiritual Life and Canon Law
Personal Spirituality and Daily Life
Ecumenism and Evangelism
The St. Gregory Program will be offered at Saint Thomas More on the following Sunday afternoons in 2013-14:
Theology of the Church – September 8, 15 & 22
Catholic Social Teaching and Ministry – Oct. 20 & 27 and Nov. 3
Theology of God – November 10, 17 & 24
Morality II – January 5, 12 & 19
Ecumenism – January 26, February 2 & 9
Canon Law – February 23, March 2 & 9
Baptized and Confirmed – March 30, April 6 & 13
Each class session is held at 1:30pm in the Pit area of church and is open to ALL adult members of the parish. Sims Beeler is the facilitator for the courses.
You must PRE-REGISTER with the Director of Religious Education, Lisa Tippett, at least on week in advance to participate. A $6 registration fee will be collected at the beginning of each 3-week session.
